Holiday Giving is a Brea Tradition
Wish Trees
During the months of November and December, individuals can pull a tag off any Wish Tree (located at The Community Center, Civic Center, and Resource Center) and donate a gift card directly to the Resource Center. Gift cards are then used throughout the year to provide relief to Brea families facing any kind of financial hardship. Brea Resource Center accepts gift card donations throughout the year, including outside of the holiday season.
BCEC
Local groups Brea Community Emergency Council (BCEC) and Active Christians Today (ACT) partner together every year to provide food to those in need for the holidays. Rather than collecting and delivering food, BCEC will now be purchasing $50 grocery gift cards to distribute on a Saturday in December for a holiday dinner.
Your cash donations to BCEC (a nonprofit 501c3 charity, Federal tax id: 95-6113628) will continue to help BREA families and seniors this holiday season.
