Brea Senior Center Shuttle

In partnership with OCGO, Brea residents aged 60 and over can enjoy complimentary shuttle rides to and from the Senior Center and for pre-scheduled shopping trips. The shuttle runs Monday through Friday. An application process, 60+ years of age and Brea residency requirements apply. Once approved, requests for ride reservations must be submitted only one business day in advance before noon.

There are two pick-ups for shuttle rides in the morning. The pick-up time ranges are determined the day prior, however usually take place between 8:15 – 10:00 a.m. The shuttle provides two options for return rides back home after lunch on a first-come, first-served basis. After the first round of drop offs, the shuttle returns to the Senior Center to pick up those wanting to go on the second drop off.

Local Scheduled Shopping Trips

Departures for shopping trips from the Senior Center are scheduled as follows:

Mondays, 12:45 p.m. – Walmart Shopping
1^st Wednesday of the month, 12:45 p.m. - Ralphs/Rite Aid Shopping
3^rd Wednesday of the month, 12:45 p.m. - Albertsons/Trader Joes Shopping

The Brea Shuttle departs from the Senior Center at the noted times. When picking up the participants at the end of the shopping experience, they will then be dropped off at their residence. Restrictions apply.

Every Tuesday – Friday
9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Enroll in a new Van Service available for Brea residents, 60+ years of age. For $4 per one-way, this service is available to go and enjoy community locales, run personal errands, visit friends, and more. Application is required, and ride reservations must be submitted at least 3 business days in advance. Mileage limit: 5 miles (within Orange County). For more information, call 714-990-7750.

Introducing a new VAN PASS program!

VAN PASS Program:

• The VAN PASS functions as a "punch card" system. Drivers will stamp your card for each ride.
• Each pass costs $40 and is valid for 10 stops (a $4 value per stop) 
• Smaller quantities are available as needed. Speak to a staff member for details.

Passes will be available to purchase beginning Monday, June 24th, and are valid starting July 1^st. We highly recommend calling the Senior Center to purchase a pass over the phone using a credit card at 714-990-7750.
