Did your child receive an E-Bike this holiday season? The City of Brea and Brea Police Department partnered with Brea Olinda Unified District to offer students and their parents/guardians e-bike safety training classes to help navigate the E-Bike classifications, the Rules of the Road, and make young drivers aware of the dangers of the shared use of streets and trails by pedestrians and vehicles.
Any BOUSD student who intends to use an e-bike to commute to and from school will be required to:
- Complete an e-bike safety class and
- Obtain a valid e-bike permit to commute and park the e-bike on school grounds
The Brea Police Department has developed an engaging e-bike safety class, offering an interactive opportunity to learn essential safety information.
