Join us for an exhilarating celebration of a beloved cultural phenomenon that began its journey in Brea, California, 20 years ago! This unique exhibition will tap into our gallery’s vibrant network of emerging local pop, surreal and low-brow artist, showcasing never-before-seen artworks that will take you on a nostalgic trip down memory lane. This exhibit is an opportunity to toast the artistry that was sparked right here in our community and allow visitors to immerse themselves in the fun!

Yo Gabba Gabba! had international renown and appeal reaching more than 700,000 viewers a week in their debut season followed by successful live tours across the globe including Australia, England, Canada, and more than 60 cities across the United States. 

The series has been recognized and honored for their genre-breaking and innovative approach to children’s media. Awards include: 2013 Best Non-Animated or Mixed Series and Best Music Awards from Kidscreen Awards, Time Magazine “Top ten new TV Series of 2007”, BAFTA Children’s Award, International in 2008, and 2008 and 2009 Daytime Emmy nominations for Costume and Styling Design.

The show’s cutting-edge format and special celebrity and musician guests appealed to a much wider audience than the typical children’s program leading to unique opportunities for the cast including a special guest appearance at the 2010 Coachella music festival with a return in 2025, a 2009 Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade float, and ongoing appearances at sporting events, concerts, and pop-culture conventions. The immense popularity of the program has only continued to grow, garnering over 1.2 billion views on YouTube. The revival of the series titled, Yo Gabba Gabbaland! on AppleTV delivers the same indie, playful spirit while reaching a new generation of children.
