The City of Brea is hosting a Paper Shredding and Compost Giveaway Event on Saturday, September 6, 2025. The event will take place from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the Brea Community Center, located at 695 Madison Way, Brea. Residents and multifamily premises customers are invited to bring up to five “Bankers” boxes of paper or other media suitable for shredding. In addition, each person may collect up to four bags of compost during the event. Proof of Brea residency is required.
