We are expecting delays on waste collection Wednesday, July 9, 2025, amid labor issues at our contract service provider, Republic Services. Wednesday collections could see delays by a day. If your trash was not picked up, leave your bins out for potential makeup service on Thursday, similar to a holiday week. If you are in an association community, check with your management for any guidance.

The delays are related to a union strike in the Boston area. There is no strike in Brea. Some local workers are picketing in support of striking union members on the East Coast.
