The City of Brea would like to remind you of office hours and trash collection days during the upcoming holiday season:
- City of Brea Administrative Offices are closed December 24 - January 1.
- Brea Community Center/Fitness Center are closed December 24 - 25 and January 1. They are open on December 26, from 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and on December 31, from 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Brea Senior Center will be closed December 24 - January 1.
- Brea Gallery is closed after December 6, reopening in 2025.
- Curtis Theatre Box Office is closed December 24 - January 1.
Due to the holidays, there will be no trash collection on December 25, 2024 and January 1, 2025. When there is no collection service due to a holiday, service will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. Need to recycle your holiday tree, this season’s collection dates will be from December 26 – January 11. When disposing of trees, please observe the following guidelines:
- Remove the tree stand along with all decorations
- Cut up trees and place them in the brown yard waste container.
- If the tree is over six feet in height, it can be cut in half and placed curbside.
- Trees in bags or with flocking are NOT recyclable. Cut and place in the black trash container, or if extra-large, schedule a bulky item pick-up.
