Waste and recycling collection in the City is being impacted by sanitation labor disruptions. While we are tracking this disruption closely, we are unsure how long service will be impacted.
Republic Services, the City’s waste hauler, notified us that there will be no residential trash pick-up today, Thursday, December 9. Republic Services is working to recover impacted areas.
What to do:
- Put out your containers at the curb on your collection day.
- If not serviced, leave containers out overnight for possible service the following day, similar to a holiday schedule.
- Continue to follow us here for updates.
- If you do not see collection the following day, take up your containers and store for your next scheduled collection date.
- If needed, bag any waste from the week for collection on your next scheduled day or when service resumes.
