The Orange County Fire Authority is reporting at the Blue Ridge Fire remains at approximately 15,200 acres with 0% containment. There are no injuries to fire personnel and no injuries reported by community members.
Brea’s current evacuations will remain in place throughout the night as a precautionary measure. The threat of fire still exists due to heavy fuel and the unpredictable nature of the weather. As a reminder, MANDATORY evacuations are in Hollydale and Olinda Village, with VOLUNTARY evacuations in Brea Hills and Olinda Ranch. There are no other evacuations at this time. Updated information will be sent out as conditions change.

Once residents evacuate the area, there is no longer access until the area is cleared by public safety personnel. As evacuating, gather your belongings and head to a family or friends home, or a hotel. The Brea Community Center, 695 Madison Way, is also available as an evacuation center. Please note, COVID precautions will be in place at the community center. If you have a mobility issue or need help evacuating, please call 714-671-3648.
CLOSURES:
Carbon Canyon Road is closed at Brea Hills to ease traffic. Please head west through Brea when evacuating the canyon.
Olinda Alpha Landfill
CANCELLATIONS:
Community Services has issued cancellations on October 27 and October 28 for outdoor fitness classes and childcare at the Brea Community Center.
