Posted on: August 28, 2017[ARCHIVED] OCTA Proposes Bus Route Changes; Public Meeting Set
that OCTA bus routes in Brea will be affected by a proposed service change that would go into effect in February of 2018.
Route 153, which runs from Anaheim to Brea will have impacts on Associated Road and Birch (between State College and Associated). This route is proposed to have the following weekend only am & pm trip changes:
• Saturday: Eliminate last northbound trip departing at 9:00pm, first southbound trip departing at 6:00am, and last two southbound trips departing at 8:00pm and 9:00pm.
• Sunday: Eliminate last northbound trip departing at 8:00pm and last two southbound trips departing at 8:00pm and 9:00pm
Route 57, which runs from Santa Ana to Brea will have an impact on State College stops. This route is proposed to have the following weekday frequency adjustments:
• Weekdays: Decrease frequency during peak to about 12 (short trips) and to about 24 (long trips) minutes.
