Arizona Pipeline Company, on behalf of Southern California Edison, will be performing work at the intersection of E. Birch St. & S. Poplar Ave. starting Monday, April 7. The project is expected to last approximately 30 days and will be carried out 24 hours a day. The scope of work is to replace and install a vault/manhole restrain system.
To safely perform this work, Portable Changeable Message Signs (PCMS) were installed - 03/31/2025, to inform motorists of the upcoming work. The eastbound right through lane and westbound left-turn lane from E. Birch St. onto S. Poplar Ave. will be closed. Only the northbound lane on S. Poplar Ave. will be open, with the southbound lane closed just north of the intersection. Proper traffic control devices and signage will be installed to detour traffic during the partial road closure.
