OC Waste & Recycling will be hosting a Compost Giveaway at Olinda Alpha Landfill, 1942 N. Valencia Ave., in Brea on Saturday, November 5. Orange County residents can pick up free compost between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., while supplies last. Residents must bring proof of OC residency, and a shovel and container to fill.
