With extreme temperatures expected throughout the week, the City of Brea has activated its Cooling Centers at the Brea Community Center and Brea Senior Center. Extended hours at the Brea Senior Center and regular operating hours at the Brea Community Center will offer residents the opportunity to stay cool and out of the heat. The Brea Mall is also a great place to visit to cool off.
On days with high temperatures, remember to stay hydrated, avoid caffeinated or alcoholic beverages, wear lightweight clothing, and avoid unnecessary work or activities which are outside. Check on friends and neighbors, especially those at higher risk for heat related illness.

Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Brea Senior Center Hours
Wednesday & Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
