Starting on Friday, August 5 at 8:00 p.m. Caltrans will be conducting a 55-hour closure to grind and overlay pavement as part of the 57/Lambert Interchange Improvement project. All lanes will reopen on Monday, August 8 at 5:00 a.m.
For the duration of the closure, on-ramps to the 57 Fwy will be closed and Lambert Rd will only have one lane open in each direction, from St College Blvd to Pointe Dr. The Southbound and Northbound freeway off-ramps will remain open. Expect heavy delays and alternate routes are highly encouraged. The main detour routes are Kraemer Blvd, Associated Rd, State College Blvd, Brea Blvd, Imperial Hwy., and Brea Canyon Rd.
