The City of Brea encourages residents to apply for positions on City Commissions and Committees that have terms expiring in 2020.
There are two (2) positions on the Art in Public Places Committee; Cultural Arts Commission; Parks, Recreation and Human Services Commission; and Planning Commission. There are three (3) positions on the Traffic Committee. All of the positions will expire on December 31, 2020. The representative to these Council-appointed Commissions/Committees must be a Brea resident, with an enthusiastic commitment to the betterment of the community, is oriented toward service to people and sensitive to their needs, understands the relationship with the City Council and the role of being an extension of the Council, and has completed and timely returned the application to the City Clerk.
Applications are available online. The deadline to submit an application is December 18, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Interviews will be conducted in January 2021.
