The City of Brea has declared an existence of a local emergency to enhance capabilities to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. This emergency proclamation allows the City to promptly take the actions necessary to protect public health, safety, and welfare within the City, coordinate with other government agencies, obtain reimbursement and seek federal, state, and county assistance, as needed.
The City Council will consider the ratification of the proclamation on Thursday, March 19, 2020 during a Special City Council Meeting at 5:30 p.m.
