Californians are encouraged to vote early if possible. A record 20.5 million Californians are registered to vote and a record voter turnout is expected in 2020. As a result, Election Day wait times may be longer than normal.
As a registered voter, you’ll have more options to match your busy schedule if you can’t make it to a Vote Center:
- Drop: Drive through a ballot drop-off location. Click here for a list of Ballet Drop Box locations.
- Mail: Return your ballot via the US Post Office – No stamp required!
If you have already mailed in your ballot or dropped off your ballot in a Ballot Drop Box, you can track it here.
